Click on Start > Run > Type cmd and click on Ok> IN black terminal just type netsh winsock reset and press enter.

Then restart yours computer.

If you are Windows 7 user then you must start command prompt as Administrator.

After downloading Recuva setup. Just install it in yours computer. Then open the software. You will see Recuva Wizard opens. Just cancel it. Now choose the drive from where you want to recover yours files. Click on Scan. It will take some minutes. After that you will see list of files that can be recovered. Just do the check mark to those to whom you want to recover. And then click on Recover button. Choose the path where you want to save the recovered file and then click on OK. And yours file will be recovered.

Benefits of USER ACCOUNTS

Let me tell you how USER ACCOUNTS can save yours computer from being infected from viruses. Let me tell you in Windows operating system there are two types of USER ACCOUNTS. One is Administrator Account and another is Limited Account. Virus can only spread to yours whole computer if they have been executed through Administrator account.

Let me tell you what is the difference between Administrator Account and Limited Account. Actually Administrator Account have access to everything into computer. So they can do all types of changes in yours computer. While Limited Account have access only to their own Account and they have some restrictions. So Limited Accounts cannot do everything and this is the reason that virus which has been executed in Limited Account may only be able to infect that Limited Account and cannot infect Administrator Account. Remember yours Administrator Account must have been protected with password otherwise virus can even access to Administrator Account using Limited Account and can spread.

So, I will suggest you to create two accounts. One account will be Administrator Account and another account will be Limited Account.

How to create Administrator Account?

To create Administrator Account go to START then RUN. Type CONTROL and then click on OK. Click on USER ACCOUNTS. Click on Create a new account. Now give any name to yours account suppose we give name ADMIN and then click on next. Choose COMPUTER ADMINISTRATOR and then click on CREATE ACCOUNT.

Now click on ADMIN. Click on Create a password and type password for yours ADMIN account.

Note:- If you will not set password to yours administrator account then if virus will be executed on LIMITED ACCOUNT then it will try to access ADMINISTRATOR ACCOUNT. And if password not set they will be able to gain access to Administrator Account and will spread to yours whole computer.

How to create Limited Account?

To create Limited Account go to START then RUN. Type CONTROL and then click on OK. Click on USER ACCOUNTS. Click on Create a new account. Now give any name to yours account suppose we give name LIMIT and then click on next. Choose LIMITED and then click on CREATE ACCOUNT.

Note --> Remember one thing a computer may have more than one Administrator Account. All Administrator Account have the power to change the USER ACCOUNT SETTINGS of other Administrator account. So one Administrator Account can even change other Administrator Account into LIMITED account and that account will have no more power of Administrator. If you run any file containing virus in Administrator Account. Then it will spread to all accounts. It will even spread to other Administrator Accounts of that same computer. Not only that but it will even spread to LIMITED ACCOUNTS.

Now if yours PC is shared by some other people then you just give them to use LIMITED ACCOUNT so that by mistake even if they open any infected file then virus will only spread to yours LIMITED ACCOUNT not to ADMINISTRATOR ACCOUNT.

Security Tips

Today I want to give you some security tips which can help you in keeping yours computer free from Trojan, Viruses etc.

First of all let me tell you don't use pirated software because such softwares mostly (95%) contains viruses, trojan etc. Lots of people use torrent to download pirated software. But I will not recommend you to use pirated software.

Always keep an antivirus into yours computer. I will recommend you to have KasperSky Anti-virus as for me it is the best anti-virus in current market.

Always update yours anti-virus so that it can detect new viruses.

Whenever you plug yours pen drive always scan it before using. Not only pendrive but even if you use memory card reader to read yours memory card even scan them.

Never download .exe, .scr, .com files from any unknown website or e-mail.

If you are giving access to yours PC to someone else then I will suggest you to give them on Guest account or create one Limited user account using control panel.

To enable Guest account click on Start then click on Run. Type CONTROL and click on OK. Click on USER ACCOUNTS click on GUEST and finally click on TURN ON THE GUEST ACCOUNT.

To create Limited user account click on Start then click on Run. Type CONTROL and click on OK.

Click on USER ACCOUNTS click on CREATE A NEW ACCOUNT. Just type any name for that account and then click on Next. Choose Limited and then click on Create Account.

By using GUEST account or LIMITED user account even if the user by mistake opens any file which has virus then it will only spread to that account and it will not spread to yours original account. So if you want to remove those virus then just log back to yours administrator account and then Delete that account which has been effected by the virus.

Autorun.inf

In this blog I will tell you lots of things related to PC & LAPTOPS. I will tell you about games, application, anti-virus etc. You will be told secrets of the PC & LAPTOPS that only few people know. Not only that but some time I will post the solution for troubleshoot that usually occurs in PC.

So, in my first post I would like to start to tell you about viruses, trojans etc........

You must know that in todays world Pen drives & torrent files are the main source for spreading viruses. 

Do you know how virus enter into yours computer as soon as you plug in yours pen drive?

I think most of the people don't know about this. Let me tell you its an autorun.inf file. So how this file installs virus into yours computer as soon as you plug in yours pen drive. You may have noticed that when you insert some software CD, Games CD it automatically opens. Or just take the example of yours motherboard CD. When you have bought PC or LAPTOP you may have got motherboard CD having necessary drivers. So what happen when you insert yours motherboard CD into yours PC. Yes, correct some application automatically opens. Actually whatever application open is written under autorun.inf file. Autorun.inf is automatically executed as soon as you plug any PEN DRIVE or insert any CD. So, virus makes autorun.inf file into PENDRIVES so that when a person will plug his/her PEN DRIVE on any other computer it will automatically install virus on that computer.

So how to stop auto execution of autorun.inf. If you have any good Anti-virus like Kaspersky then there is no problem because they automatically detects for the virus. But what if you have not installed any anti-virus in yours PC or you don't think that yours anti-virus is good enough to detect pen drive viruses.

So, here is the solution. Whenever you plug in yours PEN DRIVE just keep pressed SHIFT button for 5-10 seconds. Yes as soon as you will plugin yours  PEN DRIVE or you insert any CD just keep pressed SHIFT button for 5-10 seconds this will stop auto execution of autorun.inf.

But that's not end here. Naturally you will try to explore the contents of yours PEN DRIVE. Then for that you will go to My Computer and double click on the drive which belongs to PEN DRIVE. But actually if you will even do so then autorun.inf will be executed and virus will be installed again. So better if you don't want autorun.inf to be executed then simply just right click on that drive and click open or explore. Don't click on Autoplay.

Now how to remove this autorun.inf file from yours pen drive?

Remember autorun.inf can only be removed from yours pen drive if yours PC is not infected from any virus. If yours PC has already been infected by any virus then even if you will delete the autorun.inf file, the virus in yours PC will automatically create autorun.inf file in yours PEN DRIVE. So just suppose yours PEN DRIVE has autorun.inf file which has been created by some virus and yours PC has not been infected by any kind of virus. So just go to Command Prompt or DOS. I hope you know how to go to command prompt. Better is to click on Start then click on Run and type COMMAND and click on OK.

A black shell will open. There just go to the drive which belongs to yours PEN DRIVE. Suppose drive E: belongs to yours pen drive. Then just type E: and then press enter.

Now type ATTRIB -S -H -R AUTORUN.INF and press enter

Then type DEL AUTORUN.INF and press enter.

This will successfully delete the autorun.inf file from yours PEN DRIVE.

Now you have made yours PEN DRIVE somewhat safer. But there is still a problem. The problem is that some viruses makes the copy for the folders that is present in yours pendrive and if you will open that it will install virus into yours PC. Actually they looks like folder but they are not actually a folder. May be sometimes you have clicked some folder and it doesn't open. Suppose you have a folder in PEN DRIVE having name GAMES. And few days ago you have inserted yours PEN DRIVE on infected computer. That virus may have created a file having name GAMES which will look exactly like the folder. Yes the icon and name both will look like the same as yours GAMES folder look. And these viruses are so much clever that they actually hide yours GAMES folder so that you can only see one file named GAMES which looks similar to yours folder GAMES and on clicking it will install virus on that computer. So I will suggest you to better scan yours PEN DRIVE from any anti-virus.
